"DADA DRAW"

Here are some unusual drawing exercises for you to try. They do require some effort, but it’s important to be relaxed, comfortable and carefree.

They are like little puzzles, and are best approached with a generous helping of curiosity and humour. They are a rehearsal for drawings to come.

They can be tricky, and will probably ask you to try something new. If you don’t like one, move on to the next, or wait until you feel like giving it another go. It’s good to concentrate on the task of drawing for a short while.

The exercises encourage doodling and imaginative sketches. You can rub out and throw away drawings. Draw with the heart.
