INTRODUCTION

TO BIRDING

online workshops

with

 SCOTT ROGERS  &

WOODLANDS COMMUNITY

Woodlands Community are  hosting fortnightly online birding workshops with artist Scott Rogers throughout Feb and March.  Above is a video recording of the first Birding Workshop delivered by Scott. You can sign up to watch the next workshops live through the Woodlands Community What's On page on their website.

These workshops are great for finding out more about the different bird species seen locally to Glasgow. You might also want to sketch along as you listen, included in the videos are photographs from Scott's own Birding collection.

To see more of Scott's photography you can visit his Instagram page

@glas_eun.

Scott Rogers (he / him) grew up in Treaty 7 territory Calgary in Canada, and has lived in Glasgow for the last ten years. He is an artist, and also a very keen birder. Since childhood Scott has been an avid nature enthusiast, and he loves to share his knowledge and passion for the outdoors.

Woodlands Community is a Development Trust, a charitable organisation that aims to improve the Woodlands area of Glasgow and the lives of local people.
